Google Adwords have lots of competitors out there like Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft AdCenter. But what are these advantages and disadvantages does Google Adwords have right now? This is where we determine on how Google Adwords maintained their service so reliable that advertisers have no doubts about it.

Advantages:

•    Google Adwords are more on control. You set your own rate for CPC (cost-per-click) from $0.01 to $100. You can also create and manage your own targeted ads. Daily budget is also set as low as 1 cent. You can enable or disable your ads anytime when you want to, because you have the control of your own ad. The performance reports are always updated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in order for you to determine if your site’s traffic has improved or not.

•    Google Adwords provide you tools like Google Keyword Tool, which will help you determine how much your keywords will cost you per visitor’s clicks. You can control your own price, as your budget depends on it. Soon, Google Adwords will add more features for the convenience of the advertisers.

•    Google Adwords are very active on their customer service. Through their Google Help Center, we can ask questions to them and they will provide you some answers as early as possible. Their customer service is very friendly and entertaining more customers actively.

Disadvantages:

•    Google Adwords has its own limits. They won’t allow advertisers to put ads on suspicious sites like gambling, adult, pornography, steroid-type sites and scam sites. This may lead them to a bad image. Failure to follow the rule may result to a suspension or disabling your account.

•    If an advertiser is banned in Google Adwords, there’s only a little chance that Google might reinstate them through their appeal form. Google Adwords are very strict when it comes to violating their terms, so you only have less chance to be reconsidered in their program.

These advantages and disadvantages will help and guide the advertiser on his next move. We should be more careful in using Google Adwords, because if we don’t, you won’t be a successful advertiser like the others who make money online through ppc advertising effectively.
